Bell Schedule
Student attendance is a critical component that is directly related to student success. Below are the beginning and dismissal times for A.L. Burruss Elementary School:
- School Day: 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (Bell Schedule)
- Before School Program: 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- Student Entry Into the Building: 8:00 a.m.
- Students Will Be Tardy After: 8:30 a.m.
- After-School Program: 3:25 to 6:30 p.m.
We strongly suggest that you check your bus schedule for morning times of bus pickups to your address/apartment complex. If you are unsure, please contact the school office at (770) 429-3144.
Bus Routes
Please take this opportunity to review your student's School Bus Route for the upcoming school year. If you don’t see a bus stop for your student to safely access please fill out a Bus Stop Appeal form.
Safe Rider Program
Our Safe Rider Program is a student management program which promotes and teaches proper school bus safety. The core of the program promotes personal accountability as it relates to bus safety because unsafe choices endanger the safety of all passengers.
