Sarah Martin is a kindergarten paraprofessional with many years of education experience and has been a valued member of the Burruss staff for three years. Her connection to Burruss runs deep. Over the years, she has served the school community in many roles, including parent, PTA President, substitute teacher, and even a student when the school first opened in 1988.
Sarah has been actively involved in the Burruss drama program since its beginning in 2013. She is passionate about the importance and value of the arts in education and has also served in a variety of roles within community theater.
Sarah has been married to her husband, Nathan, for 27 years. They have six children, all of whom attended Burruss Elementary and Marietta High School.
Outside of school, Sarah continues to serve her community in several meaningful ways. She serves on the Board of Education for the Due West Center for the Arts, is a youth group leader at Stonebridge Church, and coordinates the Lee's Crossing Swim Team.
Sarah is passionate about education, the arts, and creating opportunities for children and families to be involved in their schools and communities.
