Meet our Media Specialist

Kristin Saxon

Mrs. Saxon is thrilled to be the new Media Specialist at Burruss Elementary. She previously was a media specialist for Marietta High School. She brings her two sons with her to Burruss. Mrs. Saxon graduated from University of North Georgia with a degree in English with a Theatre Concentration. She started her career at the Atlanta History Center in their marketing department, but she also picked up open-hearth cooking while she worked there. She has a background in graphic design. She earned her Media degree from the University of West Georgia. Of course, reading is a favorite hobby, but she also enjoys cooking and eating out, theatre and museums. Although she was not born a Blue Devil, she loves the community and is happy to be back with Marietta City Schools.
